No worries! Tone is hard to convey online. I teach mostly lower level math courses, so I would be happily surprised if my students even knew what an asymptote was (we don't even cover them), much less anything more complex.

You must be peeved a lot - for most students, they don't! And that probably suits their purposes just fine.

OneNote is crazy powerful. If you're fortunate enough to work in a 1-1 school, the Class Notebook feature is such a good way to distribute work to students. I use it for notes and classwork, but it can be used for anything you would pass out. It is such a time saver for me. onenote.com 🧵

A running to-do list helps me keep track of urgent and less-urgent tasks and reminders. I use this desktop dry-erase board for long-term reminders and task planning, and I use a small whiteboard notebook for short-term items. The notebook in particular is great for meetings.

A classroom timer is an enormous help with time management for both me and my students. I love the one at www.timer-tab.com. It's simple and sleek, and you can pay a small one-time fee to get rid of the ads. 🧵
