For the first 5 minutes of a test, I tell students to put their writing utensils on the ground, I hand out the test, and they can talk to each other while holding the tests. Students shared how much this lowers their testing anxiety and you hear some of the best mathematical conversations.

Nobody asked for this, but I'd like to start a thread of the teaching and time management tools I use on a regular basis. Curriculum is super important, but so is pedagogy! And managing your time/classroom helps enormously with that. 🧵
