This morning I drove past the site of the South Fork Dam, the one that broke and cause the death of 2,209 people. The rich elite owned the property & not one penny was paid in damages. 😢🤔

It is so sad that people condemn things so quickly for seemingly no reason. Was on a bus near D.C. back in the 1980s talking with a friend about how prisons were starting to allow Natives to have sweat lodges - a breakthrough. Woman jumps into our conversation & my friend pretends not to know me🤔
