Many many months ago I joked (on Bluesky) about Van Dijk being overrated, a bit tongue in cheek, but the pile on from Scousers was impressive.
It got to the stage where the likes of Baresi, Maldini and Beckenbauer were actually being dismissed in comparison to him!
