Absolute Batman from @ssnyder1835.bsky.social and @nickdragotta.bsky.social is an interesting interpretation of the Dark Knight. This Batman borrows elements from the original Caped Crusader like his brilliance and expert martial arts skills. But this Bruce is an absolute TANK.

Well #comicbook people, I have now officially read every single issue that the (now relatively) new #DCComics Absolute initiative has to offer (as of 03/24/25) and I gotta say that we’re off to an excellent start. The work of @kellythompson.bsky.social and Hayden Sherman on WW has to be my favorite.

Another addition to the physical media collection: Evil Dead Rise on 4K steelbook

I’m a massive #EvilDead fan and this was such a fun, modern installment to the franchise. A mix of the serious terror of the 2013 reboot and the quirkiness of the original films, Rise is such an incredible watch.

Been a hot minute since I’ve posted on the butterfly app, but just picked up #Nosferatu on 4K today.

I have no idea where the time went. It doesn’t feel like it’s been 2 months since this hit theaters. Incredibly interested in the extended cut.

It has taken me way too long to finally get around to #Somna by @beckycloonan.bsky.social and @tulalotay.bsky.social, but holy shit, it is an incredible read. Such an incredible balance of intense, erotic drama mixed in heavily with the supernatural.

I absolutely recommend giving this a read.

Thank God McFarlane Toys is finally dabbling in creating Multiverse figures for the #NewGods. This Orion figure is a work of art. I really hope this is the first of many. Still need that Darkseid.

This reminds me that I need go to my reading pile and start on the @therightram.bsky.social NG run.

Finally caught up on Absolute #WonderWoman over at #DCComics. This has to be my favorite one of my favorite books currently.

@kellysue.bsky.social has put such a beautiful spin on the Wonder Woman mythos and the art duo of @cleanlined.bsky.social and Jordie Bellaire are providing the best visuals.

Reorganizing my stuff and came across one of my favorite pieces of my collection: my CGC graded 4.0 copy of the Demon No. 1 from Jack “The King” Kirby himself. This was an issue that I purchased and sent off to get graded myself, the first time I’ve done that. Not the most significant, but a fave.

Anywho, I took advantage of being on a trip to pick up on some books I either fell behind in or like AbBat, my LCBS sold out of.
