In software specifically, I see folks talking about how AI is better at writing go - a language that eschews abstraction because it’s easy for google to hire people who can just deal with it.

It’s not about solving hard problems, it’s about noticing the patterns we couldn’t be bothered to solve because capitalism made it cheaper to just pay people to wade through the menial bullshit.

This applies to art and writing too. Why is AI great at arguing with scammers or getting insurance to pay you? Those are both menial, BS tasks.

If anyone speaks crow, I’d like to say “um, actually the neighborhood cats have been a much larger contributor to your mortality rate than the birds” but I don’t speak crow or reply-guy. Please help.
