PaperWM isn't working well on Gnome 49, so I'm taking the chance to seriously check out #niri and wow, it's a slick WM! Though I do miss those DE conveniences, having just broken out the systemd juice to achieve automated dark/light mode transitions 🫠

I think people underrate the value of this sort of 'get a feel for it' visualisation. You often just need a 'good enough' mental model to think about a problem productively – great software engineers do this too, I think
