With the Eisner Awards coming up, I took on the hypothetical situation of, "What if the Eisners added a LOT more awards?" And then, I handed those out to each theoretical winner.

It was a lot of fun, and I got to highlight some great comics (and trends) along the way.
The Eisner Awards are this Friday, but who would win for each of the categories that didn't quite make the cut this year?

That's a good question, so I handed out Fake Eisners to Real Winners in categories like Best Letterer, Best Comics Month, Most Appealing Trend, and more.

SKTCHD is going through another nice stretch, and as a reminder, it's entirely funded by subscribers. No ads, no one behind it besides me and a couple cats. Your support keeps the site going, so if you want to read features, interviews, and more about comics, subscribe today!
It's a weird time to write about anything online, but perhaps especially comics. Wonderfully, SKTCHD continues to grow, so BIG thanks to new and long-time subscribers. For those that haven't checked it out yet, maybe consider subscribing for long-form writing about comics!

Folks, this is a great episode of Off Panel. I had a wonderful time talking comics and creating and finding the right answers with @mattfraction.bsky.social on the podcast, which was somehow our first chat in eight years. It's a really good one, and I hope you dig it. Listen up!
This week on Off Panel, @mattfraction.bsky.social joins the show to talk about the past few years of his life as a writer and storyteller, collaboration and control, the appeal of fun, and his work on projects like AdventureMan and the upcoming Batman.

How do some of my favorite manga titles like Hirayasumi and Tokyo Alien Bros. come to life in English? That was a question I had, so I talked with @viz.com Editor Holly Fisher about the work that goes into doing just that, the brilliance of Keigo Shinzo, and more.

This is open to non-subscribers.

Hey my dear manga fans. Please help me spread the word about the account on Bsky and share the news posts as much as you can. It would be a really big help for the account especially right now at the start when its still small. I hope I can post here regularly and use this platform to reach you.
