14 riders have been selected to represent Guernsey at the Orkney Island Games in July. The team will consist of four riders in the ladies’ road team and five riders in the men’s mountain bike and road teams. The teams represent a mixture of experienced riders who have competed at previous Island Games as well as some up and coming young riders, who were inspired by watching the Guernsey 2023 Island Games, said Steven Palmer, from the Guernsey Velo Club.
