A good lawyer would say RUN. My solicitor, in hearing a similar take from my ex, said "in the strongest possible terms, I do not advise you enter into this or any such arrangement", and that is British legal speak for: SCREAMING "YOU IN DANGER GIRL" AT PIERCING VOLUME

In short, I see your field of expertise, but please don't imagine those living through this aren't keeping ourselves informed and being sensible. It comes off condescending. Given my OPENING REPLY mentioned he'd not even caught a cold, we are doing fine.

Oh wait, you're in the US. As a general rule,whilst it's certainly not perfect, the NHS provides us with regular updates/info, inc my father's current blood results, taken weekly, giving us a picture of what risks the family can take for daily tasks, in addition to us having all up to date vaccines

My dad wears a mask. He has chronic leukaemia. If I'm traveling, I wear a mask, because I'd like to not be carrying something that could hospitalise then kill him. He also mentioned 2 days ago he hasn't caught a cold since 2019 when he was diagnosed, and that's because of masking up. This is gutting

Your two colleagues clearly ate at the hotel bar or just fancy places. Actual Portuguese food will stick eggs on everything. My 45 year long, best friendship with a Portuguese person and her awesome family, laughs at your mates' week in a city managing to avoid actual Portuguese food 🙄
