that's could be contentEditable issue in general. I also had inconsistent behaviour between browsers with the selection of editable content (we use Prosemirror as well)

yeah, only in Chrome and only if the current line is longer than the previous one.
(Chrome and FF wrap the line differently btw)

This is very loosely related, but I had a dumb idea of a language that does not use any symbol that requires holding Shift. Just because I find it very annoying to type stuff like "() => ({ x })" (I guess what I'm saying is even qwerty isn't suited for programming as well as it probably could)

Have you tried moderation lists? (probably not the best solution for recommendation system in general, but it can fix this specific problem)

I guess there were not that much alternatives for an easy-to-use open-source language in 90s/00s, so many math libraries starting with NumPy grew up there.
(I gotta say I don't remember using it at all when I was in school, it was still FORTRAN/Matlab etc. But it was before NumPy)
