i felt this way w/ a lot of characters’ cutesier, “endearing” quirks? like they’re introduced so fast that it didn’t feel like adding a layer to an already developed character, it was just like Here’s This Guy’s Anime Trope. sometimes it felt like a pacing issue, but also ur right Asa IS weird lol
