OMG you guys a jumping spider had babies in my window and now my side table is a baby jumping spider nursery. One the one hand: LOOK AT HOW CUTE AND TINY IT IS. 🥹 On the other hand, this is starting to push the limits of my recently overcome arachnophobia.

So proud of my conservative little hometown! About 500 people lined Main Street, with tons of supportive honking and waving from passing cars. I usually head down to Vancouver or PDX for rallies/protests, so I was a little concerned what might happen out here…gives me hope!

Took Clement the Tea Pet (and my partner D, as well) out for a nice autumn walk…ended up having a long chat w/ some neighbors we’ve only greeted in passing and discovered we’re like-minded comrades. Community building FTW!

Trying Golden Flowers Heicha for the first time. Got this sample from @fridaytea.com (& recommended by fellow sensitive-gut friends).
What a fascinating tea! I can definitely taste the mushroom umami funk, but also…like a creamy sweetness? Almost like creme brûlée. Beautiful tea for fall!
