Decided to organize my threads last night, which is a bit of an undertaking but very satisfying.

I love these silly shoes

Please enjoy my friend’s “banger tweet”:

Made a bear for my niece’s new baby. It matches the bear I made for her first baby, but a different colour

Found four four leaf clovers yesterday! There was also a palm sized clover on the other side of the fence that I’m very sad I couldn’t get

Another item in my clothing kick. I made this shirt aaaages ago, but recently cropped it and added some iron on vinyl.

Embroidered a cardigan for my sister. It was such a soft and stretchy fabric that I needed to back it with felt so my stitching wouldn’t warp the designs I’d made.

Juan surprised me with the Animal Crossing jibbitz the other day so now my crocs are truly a thing of beauty.

I love this shirt but it has always been so low contrast and I feel like it’s been fading lately. So I got some screen printing ink and painted over it! If this shirt thought it could clock off on my watch, it was wrong. It’s done when I say it’s done.

Working in some embroidery for my sister

I do embroidery animation, a rare enough medium for people to follow me

A couple more photos! You can’t really draw on the vinyl so I would draw on regular paper, cut that out, blue tack it to the vinyl, then cut that out so I could get all the vinyl pieces I needed. The hardest part was the woman’s face; you can see my first and second attempt in the last photo.

Aldi was selling iron on vinyl so I got some and up cycled this $5 jumper. I cropped it, put in a draw string, then cut out all the pieces of vinyl by hand (since I don’t own a cricut) and ironed them all on piece by piece. I loooove how this came out.

My only participation in the Labubu trend was to buy some Labubu glasses for my childhood teddy bear.

I think it still needs more time pressing, but flattening it has made it look even more clover like! The iconic heart shaped leaves are here :D

Found my first ever four leaf clover and it’s HUGE!

This skeleton cushion is the best thing Pottery Barn has ever made

Saw this amazing purse on the weekend, although there’s not much you could put in this. My friend said it’s perfect for carrying a tampon and a breath mint.

I love heavily graffitied bathrooms. The sticker over the eyes was accidental and perfect.

My mum got one blind box in the 90’s and still has it. She keeps it in the fridge because the cold makes the tail pink. Love that she got just one and was like, that’s enough.

I trace it with baking paper, sew through that, then pick out the paper w tweezers. There’s also embroidery transfer paper, which you can draw or print onto, stick on, then wash it away after you’ve stitched through it. Either way I only use it for the outline, then remove the paper and complete

Some better photos of the embroidery

I put up some peel and stick wallpaper recently and because of the way it’s printed, I had this white peel and stick. So I hand cut some shapes and decorated our rubbish bin. This was SO fun, I want to do more.

I need to take better photos but I did a little embroidery on a sweater. I looked at a lot of tattoo art and art deco for inspiration
