I’d love to compete in a competitive handicrafts show. I love watching that kind of show and I’m a fast embroiderer, but mostly I just think it would be fun.

A friend told me about mary jane style Hokas and I have never bought a pair of shoes SO FAST. Especially because they’re red and pink??? Can’t wait for these to arrive so I can make them my shoes of the summer.

I had my best ever jazz dance class tonight. I remembered all the steps (more or less) and hit things mostly on the beat. The instructor grabbed my arm at the end to excitedly tell me that I’m improving. I’m high on dance now

I keep buying clothes since I’ve moved back to Australia. Everything is just brighter, more colourful, and I’ve been able to actually try on all these items in person before buying. The plus size clothing scene here isn’t perfect but def having a better experience than Vancouver

I successfully stopped biting my nails (because I chipped a tooth!!) and I miss my little nubbins. My nails look so nice but I hate the sensation of having them.

Embroidered a cardigan for my sister. It was such a soft and stretchy fabric that I needed to back it with felt so my stitching wouldn’t warp the designs I’d made.

It feels so ridiculous to be walking around with a burn on my forehead from oatmeal but here we are.

It feels so ridiculous to be walking around with a burn on my forehead from oatmeal but here we are.
Dropped a piping hot bowl of oatmeal this morning and it got everywhere, including my EYE. It was less funny at the time but it’s a bit funny that I a have a blister on my forehead because of oatmeal. I could only get so much of my face under the tap of cold water and my eye took priority.

I should add that when we watched Yentl, we were in a discord with our partners, who were not watching. So now my partner has experienced Yentl but only through our commentary as we watched. Also she dressed as Yentl again today.
Last night I watched Yentl with a friend because we’re watching a bunch of old musicals. Today I’ve found out that she’s dressed in an outfit inspired by Yentl’s boy look, which is very funny to me

I see so many videos about people pressuring women to have kids, or asking invasive questions about why they aren’t etc. Even though I’m 37, I have experienced this so rarely and so little. I think I’ve so successfully branded myself as Obviously Not Having Kids that people don’t even bother with me
