Recently a friend told me that my favourite party is one I’m not at. We were just walking around outside of bars and clubs and I think she’s correct because being outside of the parties IS fun. Anyway, Happy New Year!

I forgot to take my razor with me over Christmas, so I wasn’t able to shave my eyebrows. I just shaved them after 4-5 days and the satisfaction of having my alien brows back is very real.

You also don’t have to share it on the internet if you feel it’s not good enough. Just make the art and show your friends. I’ve been taking a lot of dance classes and I really love them but I’m not going to share any videos online of me dancing. Not everything valuable needs to be shared online.
I mean, things are tough all over. If rude criticism stops you from making art, you should probably not be making art.

When you’re donating blood, did you know that there’s a minimum amount of blood they can take from you and a maximum amount of time you can take? It was flowing real slow today so it was a bit of a race against the clock toward the end. But they got my blood! Hooray!

A massive problem today is the uneven distribution of shame. Some of us are running dedicated on-site shame servers 24/7 while others have no access to shame at all, even though they desperately need it. What we need to do is put shame in the cloud

It’s so funny to me that I keep seeing the OUTSIDE of windows fogging up because it’s hot outside and air conditioned inside. The opposite of what I’m used to seeing in winter. You can really tell I’m not used to Brisbane anymore with observations like these :P

Went to a dance class after work that was a little too difficult for me. There was a supportive teen giving me tips and it’s so funny to me that she’s never going to see me there again and she’ll think it’s because I gave up and not know that I just live in another city 😂

I always think that food is a bad way for me to deal with stress and I need to find other methods. Until I’m stressed and then I’m glad to have a little cheat code to hack my nervous system.

I’ve been to two Absolute Beginner Ballet classes this week in Brisbane, both taught by different teachers. One was true to its name, the other was more like Beginner Ballet for Confident Beginners Who Already Know Things. Lucky for me, that’s the perfect level haha.
