At 5 pm at Rainbow Book Fair, there was a tribute to Felice Picano, one of ReQueered Tales authors and a man who became one of our greatest supporters, mentors and personal friend. Very well attended, each speaker read from some of Felice's work as well as sharing personal reminiscences.

We had some great guests visit the booth: Gary Zebrun dropped by, legendary Vincent Virga sat with us a while and Lawrence Schimel sat opposite (doing very brisk business I might add).

Be very, very afraid. The erasure of Queer rights in the US is systematically underway. The US State Dept website for traveller assistance has removed all reference to trans/LGBTQI downsizing to LGB and burying the link at the bottom of the list.

See Dec 19 snapshot and today.

Queer authors have been writing great mysteries and thrillers since the 19th century, often living outwardly queer lives and featuring openly queer characters in their work.

For today's act of defiance, we encourage you to support LGBTQ+ writers, publishers & booksellers.

Go ahead, be radical & buy your books from the legacy queer publishers who aren't selling you out.
