I am really, really annoyed by Netflix buying WBD. I truly hope WBD destroys them from the inside like every company that has bought WB suffers through.

One Battle After Another is crazy good y'all. Like, immediately one of the best films in the past 25 years good.
October 1, 2025 at 4:02 PM
just some guy being right about some movie
I don’t think One Battle After Another can be over-hyped. You’re going to hear alot of what sounds like awards season hyperbole about it, but it’s not - the movie is undeniable, it really is that good. And it’s a big funny entertaining action movie, but also much more. I can’t wait to see it again.

The LinkedIn discourse on this is incredible like “let’s normalise failure” and “every founders nightmare” and my dude the c team were cooking the books this is fraud 💀

Sucks massively for the people below them and hope they find new gigs soon.

"nearly every aspect of society has been designed by people unfamiliar with not only the experience of living in poverty but the experience of living paycheck to paycheck"

as relevant in the UK as the US tbh. probably the most powerful thing I've read in a while
