The people who are actually getting screwed by undercutting are small indies - the $10-ish game segment. With really small indies, often it's self-undercutting. I've said this before, but almost no commercial game should be priced below $5 on launch.

I think it’s why like making dance music. It’s less subjective to have that functional indicator there. It either makes you dance or it doesn’t!

Same! I was surprised what I could actually get away with for collision. As long as you triangulate any ngons in blender first it seems pretty forgiving. At least in unity 🤷‍♂️

For something like the geo in that first pic: would you split it into smaller pieces for collision? or does using this mesh work as is?

It’s like 6 level blockouts all loaded at once… to make sure they click together properly. You can walk inside those tubes visible in the bottom bit

Hand modeling as opposed to using snap together chunks or something? Everytime I try and do a kit of pieces to save time it never works out
