Car got towed due to the ambiguous and horrible snow removal planning at the start of this season.

Online portal doesn’t have my car listed. The city # points you to other number. The other number is flooded and cant take incoming calls.

Quebec really has their priorities straight.

It has now been 48hrs since the signs on our street have been up. The app hasn’t been updated. No one believes the signs anymore.

Start of winter is always fun.
InfoNeige says that the street my car is parked on is slated for snow removal today but there are no indications on the street itself. This kind of ambiguity is a Montreal specialty like a stop sign at an intersection with functioning lights.

I think Patreon is finally starting to see that they can take on bigger players like YouTube and invest playback / discovery.

I’m hopeful they’ll continue to seize the opportunity to build a platform for creators to “own” their audience without needing to build their own platform.

A sign of aging I didn’t anticipate: understanding the purpose of vests.

I always thought it was dumb to have a sweater with no arms.

Now I get it. Sometimes you just need that little extra and a sweater is too much.

I’ve started emailing customer support for parts to repair items I’ve purchased and so far 9/10 times they’ll sell or send me a replacement. Even if it’s not listed on their site.

Such a great way to extend product life.

The only benefit to Facebook adding reactions to marketplace posts is people adding laughing emoji to every cybertruck that’s posted.

I’ve always struggled to read fantasy books. My eyes just glaze over at all the world building and exposition.

Turns out audio books make that way more engaging.

Every time I play pathfinder I get this insatiable urge to create. To write interactive stories.

God TTRPGs are so much fun.

If someone makes an Arc Radiers podcast, please call it Goopin’ and Gabbin’.

This cold has kept me from working out for 3 weeks now. My body is so sore and beat up from not moving enough… I miss gym.

I love the ritual of friends & family wanting to see pics + vids after a trip but it inevitably turns into a 2 hour unprepared slop fest that everyone is bored at lol.

I’m going to combat that this time by cutting together a 10-12 minute highlight reel video.

My tripod finally broke after ~15 years.

Any recommendations? Mostly for video, but I’d want it to be somewhat portable. Ideally can be eye-level with me when standing (192cm). Arca-Swiss compatible head a plus.

The absolute ATROCITY that is gluten free eating in Montreal is painful to come back to after being in Europe… the amount of options everyone was insane.

Yeah I know short form content is rotting our brains and attention spans but it’s also been the most impactful marketing tool for TV and Movies for me.

I’ve discovered more new TV and Movies via YT Shorts than any other way.

Is there a known issue with logging in via bsky? Every time I try I get “login session expired” despite it having been maybe 1-2s.

Firefox on iOS if it helps. Same on desktop when I’ve tried (Zen browser).

I love Barebells but this happens with _every_ bar. The insides become the outsides and it makes it much harder to eat.

Jon Gaines (Gainsec), the offensive security researcher who was featured in my recent video, lost employment today.

Jon discovered the vast majority of the vulnerabilities with Flock Safety (among many other things) on his own time, which I believe will ultimately result in Americans being safer. 🧵

I don’t know why but my discover feed is like 1/4th vtubers rescheduling stream. I don’t know how I ended up here algorithmically.
