“Look at me, I’m making ‘art’ for one of the most prestigious publications in the world.”

Sam Jacob’s, and/or everyone involved in green lighting that atrocity, should be fired on principal.

You cannot make a case that anything in your magazine should be taken seriously if that is on the cover.

It might be the most poorly advertised of all of their products/subscriptions, and depending what your other Apple services needs are, it can work out to being essentially free.

As was the case after WWII,the federal government is the only entity capable of restoring balance to our housing situation. Everything else is a waste of time. Our economy-minded PM should wonder what happens when 70% of HHI to rent becomes entrenched, and the beneficiaries are foreign investors.

It would help if the federal government acknowledged that developer’s interests, and Canadian’s interests only intersect occasionally, and by accident.

Oh, absolutely not. I should have clarified that I meant, “even with the most charitable interpretation of their intent”.

There is still something extra disgusting about targeting people that are about this high up in the cartel power structure.

I would be surprised if 10/12 people on a cigar boat are making more than my 2002 pot dealer.

In a funny coincidence during Trump 1, prices for some crude oil did drop more than 100% in April 2020. The sudden almost pausing of all gas consumption in North America, combined with a brief Russian price war, meant some refineries had to pay customers to take oil.

1986/87, where you ended your movie with this credit sequence, regardless of whether the characters had been graphically dismembered a few minutes earlier.

This is what a dignified White House should look like when you’re about to start an illegal war against a drug cartel.

An easy slam dunk policy:

“The Democratic Party refuses to participate in any future debate or vote concerning meaningless “messaging bills” or resolutions, nor will we put forward any bills or resolutions of this same nature.”

This feels like we are at the point when Elizabeth Holmes had those massive Siemens machines secretly doing everything in the basement of Theranos.

He IS Patrick Bateman in that video.

I think I remember a version where the Taxi Driver theme is playing in the background.

You could not make a more Peter Thiel backed candidate if you created one in a lab— although I suppose thats actually what happened here.

I was definitely the same.

I’m still somewhat haunted by Henson’s The Storyteller ep, “The Soldier and Death”, directed by Anthony Minghella(!) and starring Bob Peck(!!). Henson’s genius for creating safe places for kids to see a glimpse of the darkness is probably unmatched.

I think I was only around three or four years old, but I remember Mr. Hooper’s death being handled more maturely than a lot of adult dramas.

I’m sort of happy for him that he has a posthumous legacy, even if it’s for sitting on his balls and being fed fried mozzarella by Bob Uecker.

*solicit bribes from every possible angle.
November 18, 2025 at 3:01 PM
Absolutely, and now the most corrupt mayor in the modern era has two months to solicit bribes from landlords and developers to block rent freezes.

I mean, this was announced in Israel, while he delivered a speech saying it was an honour to serve as “your” mayor.

Presumably, this plan would already be shot down as soon as anyone looked at where the cottage is in relation to the playground and picnic area. But sure, have little kids and people with mobility issues cross a parking lot (the same one that saw a bus damage the cottage) and walk 100m up a hill.

I was thinking it would be funny if they were watching SNL together when Affleck skewered him, but it turns out she was 15 when that episode aired.
