On Apr 20 2019, I went to a show @ Ryman Auditorium w/ a friend & saw Todd Snider. His dog was on stage w/ him the whole time. Great show. Since it was 420, for the encore, he surprised everyone w/ John Prine to do “Illegal Smile.” Both of them are now gone & dearly missed. RIP

So sad to hear about the passing of the great D’Angelo. “Brown Sugar” and “Voodoo” were pretty much my education on what came to be known as neo-soul. I remember playing along to those records & learning what “behind the beat” really meant. RIP

I have been watching MLB Playoffs (albeit casually) for years, and without fail, they seem to always manage to play @phish.com’s “Chalkdust Torture” at least once when cutting to a commercial. Nice work production guy 😎
