There are pictures of the gold toilet.

I remember being told that it would take 193 years to reach legal limits for nitrogen dioxide.

I decided this was unacceptable.

Thanks to the bold policies we put in place, we've managed to do it in nine years - 184 years earlier than expected.

One of the most successful pedestrian streets in the world, the Strøget in Copenhagen, was filled with cars until a 2 year pedestrianization pilot project in 1962. The opposition argued “no cars means no business,” but the street has been a massive retail success, the city’s busiest shopping street.

The Tories used to be the party of law and order and now they’re backing someone who called for hotels to be set fire to. They are desperately struggling for relevance.

❗ New car bonnets are becoming 0.5cm higher every year, growing from an average of 76.9 cm in 2010 to 83.8 cm in 2024.

These supersized cars crowd out space in cities and are more dangerous in a crash.

New analysis of relationship between car weight and fatal collision rates in the UK finds “ppl driving heavier cars are disproportionately involved in more fatal collisions”.

Particularly the case for those involving other cars or pedestrians.
