Anyone else watching #RunningPoint on Netflix? Watching an epi a day on the elliptical & getting real #girlpower vibes. I was planning on jumping to White Lotus after this but if anyone has recs on series with similar girl power vibes, please send my way. Been feeling like #ElleWoods in the mornings

My favorite part of Daredevil Born Again are these BB Reports. Like that is the NYC I know. I love how New York has always been its own character in the Daredevil comics and adaptations.

Why did no one tell me about all these A-List cameos in 1883? I’m so late to this party

I’m so bummed I’m not at #SXSW this year. Originally, planned on making it out for weekend 1 but had to pivot plans due to a couple of conflicts next week. I hope everyone has a blast this year. Amazing lineups and speakers this year! A fantastic job by the planning teams!

We have lost one of the true giants of the screen. Gene Hackman could play anyone, and you could feel a whole life behind it. He could be everyone and no one, a towering presence or an everyday Joe. That’s how powerful an actor he was. He will be missed, but his work will live on forever.

1000% this. Public libraries are actually pretty radical--free to all, and based on the idea that info should be available to all. Get a library card! Use your library! Those numbers often play into their funding.
I also keep thinking that we have to support our libraries.

Smoke inhalation — even for seconds - can impair consciousness.

To anyone in the immediate vicinity of this unprecedented fire in the nations most populous county, urgently heed the evacuation orders NOW.

Smoke is as dangerous as the flames behind them.

So scary seeing neighborhoods I know and love up in flames right now in Los Angeles. Stay safe my LA friends and praying these winds die down soon.

The commentary on some of these posts on the Blake Lively lawsuit are appalling. The claims in the complaint are horrendous. It takes a lot of strength to bring this kind of lawsuit as it puts your moments of weakness in the public eye. No person deserves to feel unsafe in the workplace.

Watching #Maria tonight while I have the TV to myself. No question in my mind that Angelina is a shoe in for the Oscar but also could see this one sweeping the sound design categories. Can we also just talk about the beautiful camera work and set design.

The #Sundance2025 program is out and there are so many titles I’m looking forward to. Choosing which screenings to see in person vs online is sooooo hard. The Librarians (Premiere) is obviously a topic near and dear to my heart so is a must but my starred list is 15 titles long. Gah! Choices!

This @throfficial.bsky.social interview with Bonnie Hammer was a fantastic read. Her answers to the last few questions really got to me. It’s such a tough time right now and truly hope that pendulum will swing back to a focus on content sooner than later. www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-featur...

No one talks about the stress and emotional toll caring for a terminally ill pet puts on you. Let alone what it is like caring for 2 which was our reality this year. I can’t imagine being a vet and seeing that every day. Grateful for the vets, techs, and staff for everything they do.
