I fucking dread this time of year. I hate having to pretend to enjoy Christmas and put on a fake smile. Nothing makes me more inclined to anger and despair like enforced, mandatory cheer.

1. This is stolen land. We have no moral right to exclude anyone.

2. "Illegal immigration" is a product of 20th century racism; your forebears came "legally" because there was no such thing as "illegal immigration" then.

3. Open borders are good. Borders are racist and colonial violence.

Western governments are literally re-creating serfdom from first principles in fucking broad daylight and apparently the thing to be done about this is: nothing. Nothing at all.

We’re all just supposed to die quietly.

This is the very opposite of good analysis, good governance or good service. It is an entrenched caste system being overseen and executed by technocrat billionaires.

If it feels like the world is collapsing: it is. Everything you have ever known is in free fall so we can automate hierarchy.

I could write all fucking day about how we’re being failed by our elected leaders, but what would be the point?

I’ve been doing that for well over a decade and it has been effectively pointless. People on the whole are too foolish and self-hating to defend themselves or demand better.

It doesn’t matter if it’s Donald Trump or Joe Biden, Mark Carney or Pierre Poilievre, because they’re all taking marching orders from the same donors.

There is no fucking floor. Every action screams “total disinterest in human dignity or survival”—it’s insulting and demoralizing.
