His comment sucked, but please don't let that dumbass keep you from seeing this incredible show. It's so crazy he said that given the show is one of the most diverse that Marvel has ever made and has truly exceptional representation. Maybe that's why he thought it couldn't possibly be good 🤦♂️

Anyway, everyone who goes to MegaCon and only posts about the good parts y’all are complicit. I see so many “Wish I could go to MegaCon” posts from people who have never been cuz they see your cute cosplay pics on the TL. Tell it like it is. MegaCon sucks. ESPECIALLY for the price

One of my friends told me about MegaCon and that I should go and then “decided to skip it this year” why’d you waste my money when you knew it’s trash? 😭

No WiFi and no cell signal in the expo hall was like comically bad. That’s where I’d be like “stop lying, that couldn’t be the case at the biggest con in Florida lol” oh almost forgot, you can get WiFi in the expo hall for $70 per device.

I can only assume MegaCon just subsist on its name. Suckers like me get ripped off every year because we hear it’s the biggest con and then never go back. Just unsuspecting newbies and people who can make their own fun in any situation no matter how awful.

Don’t get me started on the Game Room. Anybody who went to HolMat and saw that awe-inspiring giant room full of so many arcade machines, consoles, PCs, etc etc etc. It was crazy! I was so hyped to see MegaCon’s game room because I’d the biggest con and biggest price tag. And it was just sad!

And let’s be real, the Saturday events were so lame. At HolMat my group had so many dilemmas and arguments about which events to go to because there were so many good ones every hour! Today we kept scrolling the schedule disappointed.

Bottlenecked expo entrances and exits with escalators!?!? We can’t use ANY OF THE OTHER DOORS!? They’re ALL emergency exits? You can’t afford 10-20 more security personnel to triple the number of doors people can get in and out of so we’re not literally stuck???

Don’t put your events on either side of the expo hall!! You force everyone to go through the expo hall just to get to their next event and it took 20+ minutes to get from one side to the other through the hella hot body to body unmoving mass of a literally unsafe amount of people.

The printed MegaCon map had like 2px size font. No joke, literally unreadable booth numbers and it would’ve been SO EASY to make simple improvements! Increase the font size to fill each box, duh. Put the aisle numbers on the map!
