I went to the little beer store in Grand Central and I asked for something weird and they gave me this stout that's been fortified with spices and chocolate and its not unlike being punched in the face (complimentary)

I don't understand being this prescriptivist about politics like, Mamdani is to the left of me on a lot of issues, I voted for him because he's the best person for the job and then I went on with my day

Like...politicians don't have to match up exactly with me for them to be perfectly acceptable

One thing a lot of pundit types don’t understand about younger politicians is that they don’t start out careerists and that might mean they mean what they say and the fearlessness isn’t a posture. Being good at messaging doesn’t contradict that.
