The more I heal, the more I feel the pain above knee and lower thigh bone.

The knee. It's been 5 months since this happened and I'm pretty much as good as I can be, which isn't all that great. Plus if I fall in my knee I'm pretty well done for and will need urgent surgery. Trying to wait until the Fall but I might just do it real soon. Don't know yet how I feel

Replacement because the thigh bone and groove is too damaged from the fracture and severe arthritis that they don't think I'll be able to use stairs even after healing. The good thing is recovery is under 6 weeks.
They said they are going to replace the bottom of thigh bone, the groove, and under

Grocery prices went up on most things 10-15% in past two weeks.

Way to go Trump!

And we haven't even suffered yet from the immigrant factory and farming that is going to be short soon... Not to mention bird flu without WHO and CDC

And capital gains taxes are 🤢
You want to talk about headache tax filing... I think filing taxes when you are a day trader is the worst. You have to go through every single trade
January 29, 2025 at 1:11 PM
I'm actually shocked about this because when I was full time stock options day trading, I put aside more than enough for my tax bill. They figured out I was going to have a huge jump in % bracket I was going to be taxed in. I winded up offsetting some of that but better be safe than sorry.
January 29, 2025 at 1:07 PM
It winded up being a good 30k short.
So keep an eye on the % that's set aside for taxes. Federal is likely to put you in the 24% range and each state has its own tax % on top of that.
It was a very big fuck up on Fidelity's part.

And one thing I can be thankful for, I don't have pain or at least it's under a 4 the majority of the time.

Also, I'm starting to have good days where I can finally walk the dog! Today I can't bc of hip but we really try giving her extra walks to help her lose weight ❤️ and That's my job, x walks

Arthritis that rapidly showed up in past two years. Surgery can't do too much about that regardless. I just am waiting for upper groove bone fracture to completely heal (est 2 more months) and continue to strengthen everything. Started talking to insurance about ongoing long term therapy

Straightening what we can... And I can always do one step at time and butt scoot down stairs if things don't get completely better.
I am able to walk 60% normal, with limping going on still.
They did say that I am going to continue having pain frequently above knee but it'll be due to severe
January 29, 2025 at 12:58 PM
Also found out Monday that they aren't sure if I'll be able to go up and down stairs normal again. Things are very weak to have leg straight and hold weight, which is required when doing stairs properly. This isn't just bc of injury but also bc of atrophy from my rare neuropathy. We are working on

Being as there's almost no big cities that are red....
I think town is more appropriate usage

So anyway, I asked how I broke both lower and upper groove bones without falling and he claims that my Knee has to have popped out but in upwards motion and slammed back down.
I was too busy being in a ball to notice anything except the back stuff tearing 🤷
January 17, 2025 at 4:07 PM
Pissed it off bad.

Everything else is almost healed or healed.

I can straighten leg some of the time when walking.

Supposedly it's going to be another 2 months (6 total)
January 17, 2025 at 4:07 PM
I still have to be very careful not to pop my knee out because it'll make things worse.
December 31, 2024 at 2:37 PM
The top groove is still extremely bruised and starting to heal from the little break.
Bursitis, lower groove break, and ACL are almost gone/healed.
At least my knee and lower leg is stable
