Jailbird Nocturne gave me a permanent taste for long-form storytelling (ew oh no), but I don't want to spend 4 years on a game ever again, so I'm hoping that embracing an RPG/novel hybrid format will enable me to tell a larger story faster than I otherwise could.

Moreso than my previous RPG's, I'm experimenting with leaning more heavily on prose. While the world map and dungeon(s?) will be rendered, the idea is that everything else (e.g. cutscenes and towns) will be conveyed through text.

Rival nobles set off to rescue a princess from a tower but everybody has a complicated relationship with the "prince and princess" thing. It's like Revolutionary Girl Utena meets We Know the Devil but everyone is riding a motor scooter because hell yeah.

Also, this should be (and seems to be) the case, but if someone else who purchased the bundle could confirm to me that buying the bundle provides access to Jailbird Nocturne's paid bonus content, I would deeply appreciate it!
