Life's finally stabilized enough and I have *just* enough assets made that I can share a screen of my current project!
Working title: Motor Oil and Sword.

The other map is simply referred to in the game files as "hell." This was going to be the game's secret dungeon that would lead to the true ending where I was the final boss. The player would warp in surrounded by baddies with an empty inventory and have to fight/flirt tooth and nail for resources.

2) Unfinished maps.
The first of these is the harbor, which was going to replace the "borderland" map in the southwest corner of the world. From there, you would encounter the game's antagonist for the first time and then take a ship to the northwest or southeast areas.

There's a few fun things I found in Monsterpunk's project file:
1) Early art assets for Danger Zone Friends! At the start of DZF's development, I was most comfortable making pixel art in Game Maker's image editor, so I made the original character portraits of Agnes and Lulu in Monsterpunk's file.

It's technically unfinished, but most of what's missing is mid-game content. It is otherwise playable from start to finish. I made a few tiny changes here and there, but otherwise left it as-is.

I replayed it on a whim a month ago and had a surprising amount of fun with it, so here it is!

I originally worked on Monsterpunk from 2014-2019. It was going to be my open world monster life sim action RPG attempt at a magnum opus with eating, pooping, combat, flirting, and farming mechanics. Like most of my games, It is inspired by Digimon World, but, like, even moreso than usual.

Aight, new project alert: I pecked away at this while working on Jailbird Nocturne, but I'm finally making a Card Games vs Literary Characters at the End of the World sequel in earnest.

Jailbird Nocturne is ready for playtesting!
Playtesters would have until May 26th to play through a 20-ish hour RPG. Must be able to run a Windows .exe. Please let me know if you're interested, and I'll send you full instructions! Thank you!

The addition of the Skill Respec Demon was a very last-minute add. My girlfriend requested a skill respec option and then proceeded to not need it in her playthrough. Please use the Skill Respec Demon in your playthrough. I think he's fun. Thank you.

Spent today touching up chapters 1 and 2.
