I am still on the Playmobil mailing list and it is emotionally too much for me. I love having teens, but I also miss putting together like a 600 piece Kinderhospital or whatever (complete with wee emesis basins!) every birthday. It was a present for BOTH of us!

I have a fever so possibly delirious but I have been laughing at this picture for 5 straight minutes.

Also youths so kindly and pure. I have been given multiple bracelets and trinkets by adorable strangers.

Nothing is sticky?!? This doesn’t seem right, surely.

Have taken two teens to Conan Gray concert. This venue is nicer than literally anywhere I saw a show as a youth.

I am back at work (from home) because I have no more PTO and cannot afford an unpaid day so nobody had better cross me today.

The whole household is sick (except Kai, who got it first and is mostly recovered) and we are all crabby and weepy and filled with despair and I swear at this point if someone told me sleeping with a zucchini up my ass would let me get through a night without coughing I would try it.

I have Covid and it has been less than a week but it feels like it has been one million years and I will never be well again. Was I ever well before? I no longer remember this.

I recently made a comic complaining that NASA refuses to listen to my good ideas for improving the Solar System (xkcd.com/2750).

To my delight, NASA’s Science Mission Directorate has sent me an actual expert panel evaluation of my “flatten the planets” proposal! Sadly, they decided not to fund it.

Expertise in tax law and visual arts is definitely what *I* look for in a medical professional.
