TrueCar's process was strange though. For some reason they ask for all of your PII in the request asking for them to... delete […]

Fanciest coffee I've ever had in my life. I wasn't gutsy enough to try their competition coffee, but it did sound very interesting! Very glad I made the stop at Glitch in Tokyo.

Lunch and a view! Next stop - Kyoto.

It's WILD that a movie-style heist of jewely at the Louvre happened today. I was literally in the same room only a few days ago! I didn't take any photos directly of the items that were stolen, but they were partially visible in a couple photos I took.

A couple years ago I got to see Lang Lang in a glacier. Tonight I got to see Lang Lang in the flesh.

I don't know when they added it, but Sporty's pilot training courses now have a "ChatDPE" feature that gives you checkride questions and grades free-form answers. I ran through a few questions this morning, and while I don't think it's particularly […]

The new debrief feature in Foreflight is pretty cool. I'm not sure just how good the scoring is, but it does a pretty good job of separating and identifying maneuvers.

Good morning, Gencon! I'm avoiding the 10am vendor rush this morning by finally learning to play Root

Given how little I've been able to fly lately, canceling a flight due to weather is pretty painful. I try not to second guess my decision when the weather turns out to have been fine.

...But canceling my flight today was a very good call. I doubt I'd […]

Lucked out on our hotel room in Stavanger, Norway. Also, it's 9:30pm and my brain doesn't know what to do with all this sunlight.

Edinburgh might be one of my favorite cities. It definitely helps that the weather happens to be so nice.

The Old Man of Storr was hiding in the clouds this morning. Somehow the clouds hit even thicker and lower by the time I finished the walk to the top. At least I got this kind of cool time lapse.

Okay Belfast, what's the deal with your bike share. This is the most number of bikes I've seen at a station so far, and I must have seen a dozen or so.

It's been an exhausting past month. I lost a grandmother a few weeks ago. And today I've lost my other grandmother. I'm fortunate to have been able to be with them both in their final days.

I'm going to miss them both.

It was very cool to see art made by one of my cousins hanging at the High today!

Calibre is pretty nice for managing an e-book library. And instructions are pretty easy to find online and fairly straightforward for using the DeDRM plugin to strip the DRM off Kindle books. That's not legal in the US of course. But if you were in a […]
