if you are forward-thinking and conscientious enough to choose the state you live in based on availability of abortion, you are very unlikely to _need_ an abortion and, in the very rare chance you do, are likely very able to circumvent the restriction

there is not a majority for contraception bans anywhere in the union
I'm also deeply skeptical that any substantial fraction of people are avoiding states because they are worried about *their* ability to get an abortion if they need one

mood disorder diagnoses are subsequent to actual mood disorders though, sometimes long subsequent. I get that experiment data isn't going to be available here but I find a latent common cause perfectly plausible here even with this design.

I feel bad thinking of it this way (and the site never actually died formally I just posted less and less) but the similar-size forum I grew up on was...insufficiently intelligence-selected for its size
