i'm not actually all that upset that horrible groomers and pedophiles ran a multi-billion dollar global smear campaign to deflect attention from their crimes and destroy trans lives. that much has kinda been obvious the whole time.

I cannot begin to properly articulate how upsetting it is to have had people baselessly accuse trans people of being groomers and pedophiles only for it to come out that they were deliberately doing this as part of a project to provide cover to actual groomers and pedophiles in positions of power

my shift was so suspiciously chill that i was anxious that one of my patients was going to try to die all night because it had to be a trick not just the stars aligning to give us both a low census and low acuity patients.

i’ve realized that when i’m improvising a meal if i don’t make salmon or a stir fry i end up reinventing the flavor profile of an italian hoagie from first principles basically every time.

i became politically aware when i was like 8 because i didn’t sleep and just listened to NPR all night and i am having a GREAT time filling all of my friends who are younger than me/my age but normal on Bush administration lore on this momentous day.

I realized that I still had my work phone in my pocket when I pulled into my garage this morning, I damn near shut the door to let the car run thinking about how I was going to have to drive back and trek through the hospital to get up to the unit to return it.

Tonight I puked into a trash can in front of the patient I was sitting 1:1 with and a coworker as she walked into the room which is embarrassing but at least now nobody can question my commitment to sparklemotion/patient supervision.
