Bayesian Temporal Prediction: A Robust Algorithm for Real-time EEG Phase-dependent Brain Stimulation
Objective: Real-time estimation of brain state is essential for efficient brain stimulation. Specifically, the electroencephalography (EEG) oscillation phase arose as a promising biomarker for instant...

🚨 New paper: Motor cortex excitability is shaped by traveling alpha & beta waves 🧠🌊

Using EEG-triggered TMS & ECoG in humans + a non-human primate, we show excitability depends on phase and direction of neural rhythms.

Are you interested in meta-modeling of #BrainStimulation? Now, we’re sharing head models and code in Scientific Data: www.nature.com/articles/s41... E.g., that's how we meta-analyzed tACS studies on memory recently (www.pnas.org/doi/abs/10.1...).
Together with @miles2708.bsky.social and Opitz Lab.

Excited to share that I will start as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University this fall! My lab will focus on closed-loop brain stimulation and neuroimaging.

I look forward to doing cool science together with brilliant colleagues at Northwestern.
