There's a lot of work to do in Nashville and elsewhere in Tennessee. Nationally, homelessness grew last year and will likely be higher this week (point-in-time counts are still rolling in) especially with affordable housing shortages and stagnant wages. There's no arresting our way out of this.

I think it's notable that conservative adult converts like Vance try to replace theological jargon (or questionable interpretations of them) with cultural signifiers of Catholicism. Totally fine to call out his weird disconnect. But I also think Rory responded pretty well.
