Saw this on reddit and thought it was relevant so im sharing it

Gotta start somewhere. Learn and adapt. Tbf I didnt do ranked until i played a decent amount, i think i placed high bronze and climbed to silver almost instantly. But i already was like level 150 before playing ranked. It doesnt matter much whether you grind draft or ranked, just gotta get reps

Just send it. Its your first placement dont think too much about it. Chances are you'll be put iron or low bronze so you shouldnt worry about facing people people super out of your skill tier. Your firet few games will swing your lp a lot so just let it approximate your rank and move on from there

Thats why u muteall lol. I mean if you want id recommend watching videos and playing drafts until you feel comfortable with the basics, but after that its all a learning process. Everyone makes mistakes and bad plays, and league players are notoriously toxic, so dont take them too seriously

People take it more seriously mostly.i think also better skill based matchmaking will make it so theres more you can learn from both winning and losing

I mean its not more fun than draft so id only play it if you want to improve or climb. But otherwise its not much different, just muteall and do your best
