Huge service cuts are on the way if SEPTA remains underfunded. These cuts will impact riders who rely on public transit to make it to work, medical appointments, and visit family. It will also impact automobile commuters by forcing thousands more to drive into and out of the city at rush hour.
Today #SEPTA released its Capital Budget Proposal for Fiscal Year 2026 which begins July 1, 2025. Funding constraints and inflation are impacting SEPTA’s ability to move forward on improvement efforts including station accessibility. For more information please visit septa.org/fundingcrisis/.

Every once in a while I'll remember how nice it feels to get a full 8+ hours of sleep, and then I'll inevitably get dragged into staying up late again
