This photo of New Glenn gives off major Saturn V vibes!

Post a game you remember playing that no one else remembers.

When I see my work hours have been cut in half.

It really irritates me to see the Kennedy Space Center Instagram account sharing a post that has an *a*i*-generated space shuttle picture. 😡 As if there aren't a million photos of the REAL space shuttle they could have used instead...

I spied the moon this morning! 🌖

Yeah... I definitely think it needs a launch rod. 🚀

After about a year of gathering dust, my Sagittarius water rocket will resume testing! I've shortened the vehicle to reduce weight, reworked the avionics and added some new fins. The goal is to eventually fly this rocket with a second stage mounted on top. Here's to good launch weather soon! 🚀

That looks suspiciously like Duna. 😁

Timeline cleanse: one of the model rockets I launched this morning! 🚀

It's the Orbitron, a kit by Estes, and it flew on a C11-3 motor to roughly 90 meters (294 ft). Its payload was a new camera which I wanted to test out.

This is hands-down the best New Shepard footage I've ever seen! This was taken by a 360-degree camera inside a transparent sphere during the NS-35 flight. 🤯

LMAO, Arcaboard 2 has dropped! 🤣🤣🤣

I guess the EcoRocket has been forgotten at this point...

Okay, I absolutely need to make a rocket with a paint scheme inspired by this.

What the heck did Google just do to the weather report?! The new style looks hideous! 😡

Flying past a landed booster in KSP never gets old!
August 30, 2025 at 9:54 PM
At one time, I even attached side boosters to it. I was never brave enough to fly it in this configuration though. 😁

The Big Bertha is an Estes rocket kit that I built back in 2021. At the time, it was one of my largest rockets, standing 2 feet tall. It can reach up to 500 feet on a C motor. I've flown it with an onboard camera a few times, and the visuals have never disappointed. It's one of my favorite rockets!
August 30, 2025 at 7:50 PM
Here's a little fun something: my Big Bertha rocket produced a Mach diamond the other day! It's even more visible in the third image where I inverted the colors.
August 30, 2025 at 6:49 PM
It's even more obvious if I invert the colors. 🤯🤯🤯
August 29, 2025 at 4:00 AM
I am stunned to say my Big Bertha rocket produced what appears to be a Mach diamond during its launch today. I've never seen an Estes rocket motor do that before! 🚀

It seems my Apogee Avion rocket performed an unscheduled thrust vectoring test just prior to liftoff today. The launch and recovery were nominal, but it's kind of interesting to see the plume angle sideways like that right after ignition. 🚀
