Incredible first time exp at #JAPANCUTS last night for the rare imported 35mm screening of AUGUST IN THE WATER (1995) w director Gakuryu Ishii in-person to introduce it and Q&A after. A collectible zine and pin were gifted to ticket holders. Sold out packed house! Place was buzzing with excitement.

Got lucky and saw the 2-ep premiere of #StarWarsTheAcolyte in Dolby Cinema last night. Love seeing a Star War on the big screen w a packed crowd of fans. Love this procedural take on the Jedi as space cops.

I believe in Fede Alvarez. EVIL DEAD and DON'T BREATHE are strong genre movies and you have Ridley on board as a producer. That was a classic teaser trailer that didn't show too much. Makes me think they're confident about it. #AlienRomulus
