I’m sorry there was a fugitive slave clause added to the constitution??? This is in what I’m studying for the elementary education praxis and I don’t remember learning about this at all let alone in elementary school

I’m currently reading about when the colonies were first getting fed up with Britain and how they all refused to let British troops stay with them. It’s pretty impressive that they were able to stand strong with that when they didn’t even had phones to discuss. What are we doing now

I’ve been think a lot about how if you don’t learn from history it’s going to repeat but shouldn’t the people in charge also worry about that? Like it didn’t go so well for Marie Antoinette or Hitler. I have to assume there is only so much they can do before there are some consequences
