Growing the flock! Got some new babies today to replenish our backyard fowl, who are all 7-8 years old. This little one is a Red Star.

Not normally a nervous flier, but also airplanes aren’t supposed to crash into helicopters mid flight either. Yesterday’s flight was canceled, so I got rebooked for a 5am this morning. Headed out to do some cool photo stuff. Glad I upgraded to this exit row seat.

Had a complete lack of foresight which left me as the 138 person in line on Libby for Onyx Storm. Obviously had to go ahead and buy it. If now isn’t the time for escapist YA dystopian futures fiction, when is?? Can’t wait to continue reading about our heroine saving her world. #onyxstorm
