HTV did repeat the opening episode a few years later, as I saw it. I was amazed they'd gone back to the beginning, but (now I know more about these things) I guess they'd bought a package with repeat rights and had played what they had.

According to the paperwork, the full Thorburn frame was shown off VT. Duration 19'42" followed by a 15" live closing link from David Vine.
