Pumping TV and doing talky bits between the programmes to Wenvoe and beyond.
Arthur Negus may appear in this feed.
I see that from the 25th, BBC-2 has dredged-up 2008 Clive Anderson quiz show Brainbox Challenge for afternoons. I wonder if they'll alter the endboard, which has a long-gone URL on it.

Don't forget it's Brown Leather Jacket Day. Michael's going to safely set off some fireworks to celebrate.

If you're in the mood for a very silly comedy that'll make you chuckle and occasionally guffaw on the bus (sorry for scaring you, Drive), this is for you.
More north Wales-based fun coming your way, this week.

Ep 1 of The Abergele Files is already on BBC Sounds with ep2 arriving on Thursday evening.

Remind me never to put the word "sophisticated" into a script again.

From the folk who brought you the brilliant Bravo Two Charlies comes another great comedy that's well worth a listen. The Abergele Files debuted on Radio Wales last night.

We made a comedy show! THE ABERGELE FILES puts the D into cozy crime. If you want to start a detective agency, it turns out you need to do more than read a couple of Richard Osmans.

Starts tonight, 6.30 on BBC Radio Wales then on BBC Sounds

Probably shouldn't share this yet but the hand crafted work of @mattleys.bsky.social cannot be left sight unseen. The show will be available to stream on BBC Sounds from Thursday evening.

If you're struggling to find a gift for an Arthur Negus or Margaret Rutherford fan (or both!), I humbly suggest my little RedBubble store. There appears to be 25% off all Negus Nuggets and Rutherford Requisites there at the moment.

It's the 22nd anniversary of my first heart attack (at a pre-press conference screening of Love Actually in Sheffield). Not a method I'd recommend to get a quote on a film poster, but it was the only thing I could think of saying to the publicity lady when she rang the hospital to see how I was.

I'm watching last night's Face The Music and astonished myself by getting the Dummy Keyboard answer before the music came in.
It was the first piece used in the 1979 ITV Strike until the tape wore out. (Beethoven's Piano Concerto #3 which was networked from an old IBA Test Card tape). #Geek
