this is funny bc if I’m not incorrect it kinda screws over the american corn farmer lobby who can reliably depend on products like Coca Cola using high fructose corn syrup, which though not as good tasting and certainly not great health-wise imo does a lot to keep those farmers afloat

i agree all the ppl saying “don’t fly 🇲🇽/foreign flags” are wrong bc it’s a double standard and misses the point being made abt pride in one’s heritage in the face of xenophobia; that said if you’re worried abt there not being enough 🇺🇸 flags, there’s an easy way for you to fix that I will also do

I watch TV w my grandpa, in an ep of “In the Heat of the Night” (for fellow Gen Z, 90s cop procedural in MS) called “Sanctuary” a refugee from El Salvador is sheltered by a priest and 2 cops break ranks to try to get him to file for asylum. show has many issues but this ep is still worth a watch
