If you guys wonder why John Ratzenberger hasn’t been in Pixar films consistently post-Onward: He isn’t a fan of the new films/leadership, so he went with his bud Lasseter to Skydance.

He still voices the pre-2020 characters. I’m sure he’ll be Hamm in Toy Story 5. It’s his favorite role after all.

These four fight each other. Who would be the last one standing?

Fun fact: During the live YouTube premiere of the video, the toilet paper bit was one of the shots that got the biggest reactions in the chat.

I think part of that was because I didn't share it on the Discord server for completed shots like my other 4, so it was a big surprise.

Here's a compilation of all 5 of my shots from the Chicken Little Rehatched project!

The rule specifically for people doing multiple shots was making each one in a different style, and that was fun for me to figure out. I joined late, but I'm happy with the results. Enjoy!

Also, if you go see this at a North American cinema, you’ll be greeted by a brilliant Cartoon Saloon short called Éiru.

I was NOT expecting Little Amélie to have a short attached to it because I’m used to seeing those before major studio releases, but I’m glad I experienced it!

I saw Little Amélie or the Character of Rain.

Holy moly this is easily the best movie I saw this year so far (animated and in general). Do yourself a favor and give it a watch if you can! It made me cry twice.

Going off of videos and reviews of Zootopia: Better Zoogether, it seems like I would feel the same way I do with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

A cute attraction that’s good for cooling off when it’s hot, but a step down from its predecessor in the story/stakes and impressiveness.

Saw KPop Demon Hunters again in theaters since it was brought back this weekend.

Still crowded, but everyone else was behind me, and the reactions weren’t as energetic as it was last time. I also barely heard anyone else singing. Don’t worry though, I sealed the honmoon alone!

I got an account on Backloggd, which is like Letterboxd but for video games.

I do think the website can be frustrating to use on my phone since there's no separate app for it, but it's mostly fine for what it is. I'll link my account below.

This right here is why Paramount Animation can never be on the level of its peers in the animated film industry. They NEVER keep a steady leadership no matter what. After a president greenlights and releases one film, they’re suddenly out.

I feel so bad for Ramsey Naito, man.

I haven't seen the new Twits movie on Netflix yet, but I remember that before Netflix got the rights to Roald Dahl's works, Twits was gonna have an animated film by Vanguard Animation, and it would've been directed by Conrad Vernon.

One of many Vanguard films that went nowhere.

TIL there’s a character designer on the 90s direct-to-video Corduroy series who asked, “You know what a Corduroy adaptation needs? An attractive polar bear woman!”
October 26, 2025 at 10:26 AM
Okay, since Zootopia 1 cut reptiles and primates during development (the former was cut to simplify the world, and the latter because they're too similar to humans) and Zootopia 2 introduced reptiles, I expect Zootopia 3 to introduce primates.

There's HUGE potential there.

ParaNorman holds up so well 13 years later. Watching it in the same theater I saw it in when it first released is a big treat! I was laughing really hard too.

They also played a preview for Laika’s Wildwood and the CG short film The Thrifting, both of which were cool additions!

Animation took up 8 spots in the Gen Z study group’s top 25 answers to “Favorite show or movie” (9 if you count Spider-Man since they never specify which one).

SpongeBob SquarePants, Family Guy, KPop Demon Hunters, Tom & Jerry, Rick & Morty, Naruto, Bob’s Burgers, and Coraline.

I am now 25 years old! A big milestone number in terms of birthdays, indeed.

It just sounds so old…

My funny head canon for Toy Story 2 is that Andy’s mom works for Nintendo or someone she knows does, and that’s why Andy has an SNES console with Nintendo Switch 2 level graphics.

Nintendo felt the world wasn’t ready for them until 2025.

I saw Roofman, AKA one of my favorite “true story” movies, like, ever. Great performances from everyone and well-shot.

It is more of a drama than the trailers hinted. Maybe Paramount didn’t know how to sell “Criminal hides in Toys R Us” as anything but funny.

I just watched a Betty Boop cartoon called “Betty Boop and Henry the Funniest American”.

It was blatant false advertising because Henry may be American, but he sure wasn’t “funny”, let alone the “funniest American” smh

20 years ago today (October 4th, 2005), Disney's Cinderella was released in a platinum edition on DVD and VHS.

I have good nostalgia for this trailer of it. Such powerful music, and in my opinion, it's the best trailer with Mark Elliot's narration.

I wasn’t originally planning this, but I saw Casper today after seeing One Battle After Another.

Movie holds up a lot better than I expected (I don’t think I’ve seen it fully since I was a toddler on VHS). The packed audience of kids and adults were enjoying this too.

This movie is a banger guys, I recommend it!

It was the first Paul Thomas Anderson movie I watched, too. #OneBattleAfterAnother
