Putin's Russia is the closest thing to Third Reich Europe has ever seen since WWII. On the 81st anniversary of the D-Day, it's even worth remembering those that didn't call for a quick and unjust peace or bowed to the tyrant but instead gave all they had and more to liberate Europe!

The world ahead will be much less Western, with an African demographic boom and sustained growth in Asian countries, especially in the Indo-Pacific. This will alter the global balance of powers and risk weakening European power and influence 4/

EU population is getting smaller and significantly older, weakening Europe's biggest asset, the single market. Fewer older consumer will buy less, damaging the EU position in global trade, and its geopolitical standing. DE, ES, and IT have peaked, only UK and FR are still growing 3/

Europe is in the final stages of a demographic transition, having very high life expectancy and birth rates below replacement rate. Most advanced economies are in the same situation, while emerging countries are still experiencing population growth - albeit to different degrees 2/

Donald Trump is clearly not a bright or clever person, yet the number of times he keeps being fooled by Putin is astonishing. Even a dumb six year old would have realized Russia has no real interest in negotiating a settlement and just wants to keep killing Ukrainians.

They absolutely loathe Europeans and reason like mob protection racket: I think it's pretty clear this US administration does not want any bridge with Europe. EU leaders should stop competing for that role and stick together instead to have a united front.

Oltre il limite dell'imbarazzante: la pietra tombale sulla credibilità italiana in UE. Mentre gli europei, quelli veri, si organizzano noi invochiamo vertici inutili tra parti che non hanno più nulla da dirsi. Voleva essere il ponte con Trump, rischia invece di finire fuori da tutto.

Sempre più imbarazzante l'incapacità di Meloni di prendere una posizione a sostegno di Kyiv per non scontentare Trump. Non c'è proprio nessun pragmatismo nel nascondersi per salvaguardare un rapporto speciale che esiste solo nelle menti bacate di quattro esaltati fuori dalla realtà.

Another One Bites... the bottom of the Black Sea! Sinking Russian warships might not be enough for Ukraine to win the war, but it is crucial to its economic viability. Safe Black Sea routes allow Ukraine to export goods when railways and Danube lack the same capacity.
