I told my neighbor that I was an "overconfident beginner" when he asked me if I could hem a couple pairs of jeans for him, so this was a nice text this morning.

I kept the original hem on them because I worked at Banana Republic and knew that that was a thing vs just chopping and hemming.

Christmas gift sewing Project #5 was done without a pattern, incorporated a zipper that went over curved corners, and utilized a finished embroidery project.

Fire sunset, minus the fire.

My sister took me to Sandia Peak and it was both cold and a great place to catch a sunset.

I can't pinpoint why I like this picture, but I do.

I like that the moving clouds in this one makes it look like the stars are twinkling.

Went to Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe today.

Apparently the staircase there is considered "miraculous."

They really cut back.

Last year included more fresh produce, a completed dessert, and more name brand items whereas this year they upped the canned goods and skimped on the French fried onions (off-brand and smaller size!).

My first try on the 241 Tote.

So many more pieces for a bag than I am accustomed to making, but I like how it came together!

Big cuddle energy.

Look at that.
My email has revealed that my coffee subscription price has gone up again! That's the second price increase this year.

I can't vote in Port Orchard's local elections, but this is info I found about the woman currently ahead by 22 votes for a city council position against the 20 year incumbent.

I hope that lead grows!

Pierce County just popped up a little bit ago too!
November 5, 2025 at 4:30 AM
Fuck yes.

Krishnadasan in the lead by 1,800 now that Pierce County votes are in.
November 5, 2025 at 4:29 AM
Still waiting for Pierce County results, but Kitsap is looking good!
