It takes a certain level of resigned jadedness to realize just how ironically boring this "Innovative" card is.
Lorwyn as a whole looks like a banger set so far, but it took people minutes to figure out a two-card combo for this guy. And by two-card combo I mean two cards and 97 lands. Whoof.

Well, this lass is in line for an upcoming campaign with a session 0 in a couple weeks, so that's exciting. The metal chestplate wasn't doing it for me, especially as her culture isn't super heavy into metalwork, so this is Zaniyah now. Feels a lot nicer.

There is also this friend, my personal favorite so far, but the version of the deck as he is might be a bit too strong for the table (we play at bracket 2), so I'm shelving him for a bit until I can figure out a way to make him a bit more palatable for the table.

However, the one that's caught people by storm is the weirdo on the right. Whether through scorn or genuine affection, Fleem (the expy of the back half of Norman Osborn) has become the de facto mascot of peoples' frustrations with Universes Beyond. It's been kind of fascinating to see play out.

And to WOTC's credit, they did a bang up job. Almost every card has had a really fun rendition - Secret Identity, originally picturing Peter Parker and his suit, instead pictures a Bloomburrow mousefolk in a raccoon disguise saving an otterfolk pup.

I also want to make sure they forget NPC (player?) names halfway through as well

These are probably the two I have the least fun with - Selene has become cumbersome to play in light of most other aspects feeling buttery smooth to play, and locking yourself into Ares (and out of other Hexes) really honks.

Told ya, all she needed was some props and a bit of recoloring. Hadn't been inspired to delve into Heroforge like this in awhile, so it's been pretty lovely to sink myself into character modeling again.
(Just, please, Wizards, make sure the Hexblade stays cool? Look at this lass. She deserves it.)
