The Chronicle of Higher Ed opinion piece about “creeping politicization” is so redundantly ignorant of human biases and how they’re built into everything, and so disingenuous in the ways it convent left out the way systems of power are never neutral and unpolitical. Unacceptable.

Is "theoreticism" -- the belief that the right theory (the right concepts), guarantees the right politics -- still as widespread as it was? Example: if we disagree on what a woman is (essence, discourse, performativity, etc), it follows thatwe will necessarily also disagree on politics?
