One option I have not been able to pursue althought I would really like to do so would be ground-source heat pumps, both for my home and university-scale data center projects. There doesnʻt seem to be anyone with the right expertise in Texas though the technology would make great sense here! Ideas?

Rooftop solar in Texas was easy and basically a no-brainer, though avoiding the predatory solar project financing industry is essential. Adding a battery would make sense for us from an energy point of view, but itʻs harder to make the financials work compared to the panels despite some new options.
